- I have had the same problem with this datatype.
-
- Some time ago, (actually a long time ago) I read something about the AU
- datatype here on csa.*. The problem was that this dataype utilises the new
- sound.datatype from WB 3.1, which makes it possible to play sounds from
- fastmem. The sound.datatype in WB 3.0 requires sound to be in chipmem. So
- you need to upgrade to WB 3.1 if you want to use the AU datatype.
-
- It's been a long time since I saw this and my memory isn't what it used to
- be, so if I am completely wrong about this then please somebody correct me.
-
- If all you want is to play AU sound files from AMosaic, then you are better
- off using Play16 (which is a great program, by the way).
